Summary
As a Sr Quality Engineer at MKS, you will partner with Operations, Engineering, and Internal Teams to support business and customer needs and drive world-class quality culture. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Quality Manager.
You Will Make an Impact By:
· Developing quality data collection plans and inspection/process documentation. Performing analysis and identifying trends in inspection data. Using statistical analysis tools to identify issues and draw conclusions.
· Leading cross-functional problem solving and quality improvement teams.
· Preparing customer first article packages. Understanding customer specifications/requirements and translating them into internal PORs (Process of record). Training personnel in Processes and Procedures.
· Leading audits to ensure product and process conformity. Documenting results and following action plan through to completion.
· Reviewing internal and customer data and preparing reports.
· Travel Requirements: Up to 5 % of Travel is required.
Skills You Bring
· 5+ Years of job-related work experience
· Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required, Master's degree preferred.
· Strong capability in data collection and analysis, SPC and using statistical tools to identify trends and solve quality problems
· Leadership skills. Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and gain consensus.
· Able to interpret mechanical drawings, understand GD&T and mechanical measuring data.
Preferred Skills:
· ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification preferred
· Experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools and application.
Salary Pay Range: $88,425.00 - $147,375.00 per year
